Western Electrical Contractors Association, Inc. is a nonprofit serving merit shop electrical and low voltage contractors, their employees, and the industry suppliers that support them.

What we do
Political and public affairs, networking, specialized member services, training, and workforce development — all in service of promoting merit shop electrical contracting as the most valuable, qualified choice for the electrical construction industry.
- California: federal- and state-approved Commercial, Residential, and Low Voltage (VDV and Fire Life Safety) apprenticeships, the state-approved Electrician Trainee program, exam prep, and state-approved continuing education.
- Arizona: a federal- and state-approved Commercial Electrical Apprenticeship and journeyperson continuing education.
- Utah: a federally-approved, DOPL-recognized Commercial Electrical Registered Apprenticeship.
- Plus curriculum products and publications for the wider industry.
WECA is an official Apprenticeship Ambassador with the United States Department of Labor.
